Subhadra yojana online apply 2025: The Government of Odisha has launched a new flagship scheme called Subhadra Yojana. The main purpose of this yojana is to empower women, improve their financial condition, and support their families. This scheme will be implemented across all 30 districts of Odisha. Under this scheme, eligible women will receive ₹50,000 over five years.

Benefits under Subhadra Yojana
✔️ The Odisha Government will provide a special SUBHADRA Card to all beneficiaries.
✔️ Under the Subhadra Yojana, every qualified woman would get ₹50,000 over five years (2024–25 to 2028–29). The money will be paid in two installments of ₹5,000 each, totaling ₹10,000 annually.
✔️ The first instalment was given on Rakhi Purnima, and the second instalment was given on International Women’s Day (8th March).
✔️ The amount will be sent to the Aadhaar-linked bank account through DBT for safety.
Subhadra Yojana Eligibility Who Can Apply
To get the benefits of Subhadra Yojana, you must know the eligibility rules carefully. The Odisha government has made a few simple conditions that every woman has to follow to receive the benefit amount.
✔️ The applicant must be a woman who is a permanent resident of Odisha.
✔️ Her age must be between 21 and 60 years as on 1 July 2024.
✔️ Her date of birth should be between 2 July 1964 and 1 July 2003.
✔️ The annual family income must be less than ₹2.5 lakh.
✔️ The applicant should be under NFSA or SFSS scheme, or her family income should be below ₹2.5 lakh even if she is not under these schemes.
✔️ The woman must not be receiving ₹1,500 or more per month or ₹18,000 or more per year from any other state or central government scheme like pension or scholarship.
✔️ No one in her family should be a Member of Parliament (MP) or Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).
✔️ No one in her family should be an income tax payer.
✔️ No one in her family should be an elected representative in any Panchayat or Urban Local Body, except ward member or councillor.
✔️ No one in her family should be working as a permanent, regular, or contractual employee in any State or Central Government office, department, or organization.
✔️ No one in her family should be a retired person getting government pension.
✔️ No one in her family should be a nominated or appointed representative in any government body or board.
✔️ Her family should not own any four-wheeler vehicle, except for a tractor, mini truck, or small commercial vehicle used for earning a livelihood.
✔️ Her family should not own more than 5 acres of irrigated land or more than 10 acres of non-irrigated land.
✔️ The applicant must have a valid Aadhaar Card linked with her mobile number.
✔️ She must have a bank account linked with Aadhaar for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
✔️ The name in the bank account and Aadhaar must be the same.
✔️ She must sign or give thumb impression to confirm that all details provided are true.
✔️ If any information is found false, her application will be rejected and legal action may be taken.
✔️ Only one woman per family can apply for the Subhadra Yojana.
✔️ The applicant should keep the acknowledgment receipt after submitting the form for future verification.
✔️ Women turning 21 years after 1 July 2024 will get the benefit for the remaining years of the scheme.
✔️ Women turning 60 years after 1 July 2024 will not get benefits for the remaining years.
How to apply for Subhadra Yojana

Free printed application forms will be available at various places such as Anganwadi Centres, Block Offices, Urban Local Body Offices, Mo Seba Kendras, and Common Service Centres (CSCs).
After filling out the form, applicants need to submit it at the nearest Mo Seba Kendra or CSC.
If there is any mismatch between the details in the form and the Aadhaar card, the Aadhaar information will be used as a final.
All applications will be verified by the government database and may also be checked through field verification if required.
Every applicant must self-certify their eligibility, submit required undertakings, and complete e-KYC.
The easiest way to complete e-KYC is through face authentication using the Subhadra Mobile App with the Aadhaar number.
Any woman who wishes to opt out of the scheme can do so through the Subhadra Portal, allowing the benefit to go to another deserving woman in Odisha.
Requirement to get benefits of Subhadra Yojana
Those women who are eligible and have applied for receiving benefits under SUBHADRA
would have to ensure following:
- They must have Aadhaar card / Aadhaar number in their own name.
- They must have single bank holder that is DBT enabled
- They must have linked their mobile number with Aadhaar card.
If any woman does not have an Aadhaar card, or if her Aadhaar details are wrong, she needs to make a new Aadhaar card or correct it before applying.
In the year 2024–25, all women who are approved under this scheme will get the full amount of ₹10,000, even if their application gets approved later.
Responsibilities of Subhadra Yojana Beneficiaries
Every woman who applies for Subhadra Yojana must follow a few rules and responsibilities set by the government. These are important to make sure that the money is given in a fair and transparent way.
Each applicant has to open her own bank account in her name and link it with Aadhaar and DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). She also needs to complete the e-KYC process to confirm her identity. All the information given in the application must be true and correct. If it is later found that any woman gave false details or was not eligible for the scheme, her benefits will be stopped immediately, and the government can take back the money and even start legal action if required.
If a beneficiary unfortunately passes away, the benefit will automatically stop, and no one else can claim the remaining amount on her behalf.
If a woman later becomes ineligible, for example, if she gets a government job or her financial condition improves — she can opt out of the scheme anytime through the Subhadra Portal.
Beneficiaries are also encouraged to make more digital transactions using their Subhadra Card, as women who use online payments more often will have a chance to win extra rewards.
By applying for the Subhadra Yojana, every applicant agrees to allow the government to use her Aadhaar and personal details for official monitoring and record purposes. If there is any extra payment made by mistake, the woman must return that amount once she is informed by the authorities.
Grievance under Subhadra Yojana
The Odisha Government has made special arrangements to help women if they face any kind of problem or issue while applying for or receiving benefits under the Subhadra Yojana. The aim is to make the process easy, quick, and people-friendly so that every woman gets proper support and answers to her complaints.
A grievance redressal system has been set up on the Subhadra Portal, which is connected to the Jana Sunani Portal. Women can easily register their complaints online through this system. Along with this, a central helpline call centre will also be available to help with complaints, collect feedback, and share information about the scheme.
